Spring Refund Day will be January 22, 2015
Institutional Scholarship Applications Available Now
We will once again select recipients for our institutional scholarships in January. All currently enrolled students are eligible to apply. You can pick up an application from the display areas outside the Financial Aid or Financial Aid Specialist Offices. If you have any questions about the scholarships just stop in either office and Sandy Timple, or Mary Daniell will be able to help you. Completed applications must be submitted to the Financial Aid Office before December 15, 2014.
Applications to Recalculate Financial Aid Eligibility Available after November 1
If your family has experienced a decrease in income in 2014, you may wish to contact the financial aid office to see if you would benefit from a recalculation of your financial aid eligibility. Applications will be available from the Financial Aid Office after November 1 and through April 2015.
2015-2016 FAFSA Available Online
If you wish to receive financial aid for the 2015-2016 academic year, you must complete the FAFSA online. You can complete the application any time after Jan. 1, 2015, but we recommend you wait until after your 2014 taxes have been completed so you can take advantage of the IRS tax Retrieval Tool that will automatically fill in your income information. Since the 2015 summer semester is part of the 2015-2016 award year, try to complete your FAFSA before March 1 so your financial aid will be available in May at the start of the semester. Note: You must complete the FAFSA each year to continue to receive any federal student aid funds including grants and student loans.
Our school code is 003114.
1098 T Tax Statements will be mailed by January 31, 2015
The 1098-T statement contains information about your enrollment, scholarships and tuition charges for 2014. The Registrar/Bursar will distribute these forms prior to January 31, 2015. You or your parents can use the information on the 1098 T form to determine if you qualify for the higher education deductions or credits when preparing your 2014 tax return. So, be sure to save this information, or give it to the person who claims you on their tax return (if you don't claim yourself). Click here for more information about the education tax credits or tax deductions that are available.
