Federal regulations require all applicants to report 2022 income figures on their 2024-2025 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). However, if a student can prove a change in their financial situation has occurred due to extenuating circumstances, they may request a review of the household income to be taken into consideration. Please complete the 2024-2025 Special Circumstances Request for Review - Financial Aid Application or Package form if your income and/or your spouse’s or your parent(s) (if dependent) income is less in 2023 or 2024 than it was in 2022. A submission of this request does not guarantee an increase or adjustment in your financial aid eligibility. Forms are available from the Financial Coordinator or on the wall display outside her office.
1098 T Tax Statements will be mailed by January 31, 2025
The 1098-T statement contains information about enrollment, scholarships, and tuition charges for 2024. The registrar/bursar will distribute these forms by January 31, 2025. Students or parents can use the information on the 1098 T form to determine qualification for the higher education deductions or credits when preparing the 2024 tax return.
