Conveniently located in the outpatient services area of Firelands Regional Medical Center, the retail pharmacy offers retail prescription services to patients, the community and Firelands employees.
Firelands Regional Medical Center’s Department of Pharmacy Services state-of-the-art facilities provide pharmacy services throughout your healthcare journey. Our pharmacists play an important role in recommending medications, patient counseling and evaluation, and consultation with physicians and nurses.
Inpatient pharmacy
Prescriptions can be processed and ready for pickup upon discharge or following your outpatient services appointment. Ask your discharge nurse about filling your prescriptions before leaving the hospital. In most situations, we can deliver medications right to your bedside before discharge.
Retail pharmacy
The retail pharmacy offers convenience, competitive pricing, and personalized service to Firelands Regional Medical Center's outpatients and the general public.

Why choose the retail pharmacy to fill your prescriptions?
It's convenient
- Patients being discharged from the hospital can have their prescriptions processed for bedside delivery or ready for pick up at the retail pharmacy.
- Prescriptions can also be processed for pick up for patients leaving the Emergency Department following outpatient surgery or other campus-based physician practices. Our retail pharmacy is also open to the community.
- We offer mail-out service for those unable to reach us during our business hours
- Prescription refill requests can be called 24/7 to our direct line at 419-557-7473.
- Customers may also download the RxLocal application for their iPhone/iPad and Android devices to refill prescriptions from the retail pharmacy. Search for the RxLocal app in iTunes or Google Play.
- Prescribers can fax orders to 419-557-6944 or use our interactive voice response system (IVR).
It's competitively priced
The Firelands Retail Pharmacy accepts most third-party insurance programs and honors the same co-pay structure as all other local retail pharmacies. For patients who have no prescription coverage, we maintain a competitive pricing structure. The $4 co-pay for a 30-day supply and $10 co-pay for a 90-day supply of generic medications program is honored here.
