We're here to get you the quickest and most convenient care you need for a fast comeback - so you can get back to your busy life. If you are experiencing an emergency situation, please call 911 or head to our emergency room. Firelands Urgent Cares offers two locations for more convenient care for our patients. Appointments are not required, and walk-in patients are welcome.

When should I go to the Emergency Department?
Use a hospital's emergency department for serious or life-threatening problems. Call 911 or go to your nearest hospital emergency room if you have:
- Chest pain
- Severe abdominal pain
- Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
- Sudden dizziness, weakness or loss of coordination or balance
- Sudden blurred vision
- Numbness in the face, arm or leg
- Sudden, severe headache
- Deep cuts or bleeding that won’t stop
- Coughing up or vomiting blood
- Severe burns
- Seizures
Do you need an urgent Care appointment?
No, you do not need to make an appointment for the Firelands Physician Group urgent care locations. Please note: In case of emergency situations that may arise, you may experience a longer wait time.

Can I be seen at a Firelands Urgent Care if I'm not a Firelands patient?
Who will care for me?
Firelands Urgent Care is is staffed with experienced doctors, physician assistants and nurse practitioners. Each urgent care is equipped with laboratory and and imaging services for the convenience of our patients.
How long will I have to wait?
At Firelands Urgent Care Centers, we do not schedule appointments. We see patients on a walk-in basis to treat urgent, non-life-threatening medical needs.
Patients visiting a Firelands Urgent Care location are typically seen within minutes. Our staff will alert you to the approximate wait time when you arrive and will update you if the situation changes. Firelands makes every effort to staff our clinics appropriately to keep wait times to a minimum.
What will happen when my name is called?
One of our nurses will take your temperature and other vital signs, and will ask you some basic questions about such items as your allergies and medications. You will then be asked to wait in the reception area until an exam room is available.
Do you take my insurance?
Our urgent care locations accept most major insurances. (urgent care co-pay is charged)
